Landlord's guide to Rent Protection cover with Rent4sure Limited, working in partnership with Harris Shields Collection - Scarborough.

If tenancies (or equivalent) go wrong and tenants (or equivalent) stop paying the rent, ensure that you have your interest registered through your letting agent. If you choose to register with our Rent Protection cover, you will have an "interest in" the policy with Rent4sure. This helps to provide peace of mind and security as the Landlord, when letting through Harris Shields Collection - Scarborough.

You only require one policy per property – regardless of the number of tenants (or equivalent). Protection is for the monthly rent of the property up to £2,500 and includes up to £100,000 of legal and mediation expenses for serving notices and gaining vacant possession. The rent will continue to be paid for up to a maximum amount equal to twelve months rent.

Protection is subject to all tenants (or equivalent) and/or guarantors on the Assured Shorthold Tenancy (AST) agreement (or equivalent) have successfully passed a reference with Rent4sure. Tenants (or equivalent) can be changed during the term of the Assured Shorthold Tenancy (or equivalent) as required, subject to successful references.

Harris Shields Collection - Scarborough is the insured and must not pass on the policy wording, insurance product information document or certificate of insurance.

As the landlord you are NOT the insured but you do have an interest within the property.
